Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Supervisor, Automation Maintenance Engineering for a full-time, on-site role in Plainfield, IN. You will oversee daily maintenance activities for automated material handling equipment, plan tasks, monitor performance, and lead troubleshooting efforts to improve uptime and safety.

The ideal candidate has strong supervisory skills, hands-on maintenance experience with automated systems, and a degree in engineering or related field.

Qualifications

Requires hands-on experience with maintenance and repair for automated/industrial systems.
Proven ability to plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Responsibilities

Plan and assign maintenance tasks for automated material handling equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules.
Lead troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
Mentor maintenance technicians and enforce safety/compliance standards.
Collaborate with operations and engineering to minimize downtime and maintain records.
