Responsibilities:

1. Research and respond to complex accounting issues including revenue recognition, consolidation, investment accounting, impairment analyses, lease accounting, and others.
2. Review and interpret contracts, proposing appropriate accounting treatments.
3. Advise global finance and accounting teams on complex issues.
4. Research and resolve complex transactions and internal controls.
5. Review various contracts with customers and vendors.
6. Prepare memos and reports on complex accounting topics.
7. Monitor the impact of new accounting standards and SEC rules.
8. Support external auditors and assist with special projects like mergers and acquisitions.
9. Perform fair valuation reviews and provide accounting training.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, along with at least 4 years of relevant experience. Specific experience should include:

• Knowledge of US GAAP or applicable accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Hyperion.
• Research skills utilizing authoritative accounting resources.
• Understanding of general accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Ability to draft technical memos and communicate complex topics effectively.
• Experience in delivering accounting training and interpreting legal contracts.
• Knowledge of valuation techniques and internal control frameworks.
