Sika Corporation seeks a shift Supervisor to manage manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will lead a frontline team, enforce SOPs, coordinate with Planning, Maintenance, Quality and Warehouse, and drive Lean improvements to meet daily production goals.
The role requires hands-on leadership, excellent communication, problem-solving, and the ability to stop production when safety or quality is at risk. Excellent benefits accompany this position.
Responsible for managing all shift operations emphasizing on personnel safety, product quality, schedule execution to achieve production efficiency.
Responsibilities
Have the authority to stop production when safety, quality, or personnel are at risk.
Ensure compliance with all safety policies, SOPs, work instructions, and company procedures.
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
Manage shift operations to meet the production schedule.
Monitor manpower, equipment, and materials to achieve production goals.
Ensure product quality meets specifications.
Train, coach, and develop production employees.
Handle employee performance and workplace issues professionally.
Approve attendance and PTO according to company policy.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles.
Maintain accurate ERP/SAP production records.
Promote and sustain 5S and housekeeping standards.
Coordinate with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse to remove production barriers.
