Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified Security Officer to observe and report at a client site, ensuring the safety of people and property. The role involves standing for most of the shift and performing routine patrols with vigilance.

Fridays and Saturdays, night hours, with pay up to USD $23.74 per hour. Candidates must hold a NYS Security Guard license, be able to work weekends, and have strong customer service and de-escalation skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to verbally de-escalate tense situations.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities at the client site to ensure security and safety of property and personnel.
• Perform periodic client-site tours and enforce site regulations as needed.
• Patrol premises, monitor surveillance, and inspect access points and equipment.
• Complete incident reports with accurate details and signatures.
• Handle tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Pay Range

Up to USD $23.74/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications
