Job summary

Doyle Security Services Inc. is seeking an on-site Security Guard to observe and report activities at client sites, conducting routine patrols and ensuring safety of property and personnel. The role requires standing for long periods and adherence to site regulations.

Ideal candidates have a valid NYS Security Guard License, are available on weekends, and possess strong customer service skills. Reliability and de-escalation ability are essential for maintaining a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills.
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Saturday & Sunday 0700-1500

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.06/Hr.
