Job summary

Doyle Security Services in New York, NY is seeking a vigilant Security Guard to protect client property and personnel during evening shifts. You will observe, report incidents, conduct patrols, and enforce site rules while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.

The role requires standing for long periods, a valid NYS Security Guard License, and weekend availability. Medical, vision, dental, 401K, PTO and life insurance are offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have exceptional Customer Service skills.
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Monday - Friday 1600 - 0000

Pay Range

Up to USD $23.92/Hr.
