Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services oversees daily cleaning operations and quality programs for assigned accounts, ensuring safety and efficiency in various environments. A Site Supervisor with 1+ year of janitorial experience leads scheduling, training and performance reviews, maintaining records and compliance with SOPs.

The role requires strong communication and the ability to work in different spaces, including GMP or data centers, with a focus on safety and confidentiality.

A janitor supervisor has over 1 year of experience in the cleaning and/or janitorial arenas and is well-versed in safety requirements, equipment use, scheduling, and training.SHIFT DETAILS:Sunday-Thursday, 2:30pm-11:00pmESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. The essential duties and responsibilities of this position title may vary depending on the service environment. For instance, some roles may involve janitorial tasks that necessitate specific training, while others may be situated in GMP spaces and/or data centers, requiring additional or specialized training and techniques. Other duties may be assigned.Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and techniquesIdentifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.All other duties as defined by supervisor.Must become familiar with cleaning chemical components and safety requirements.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Ability to learn and understand Scope of Work & Standard Operating ProceduresAbility to maintain confidentiality.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Required to spend on-the-job time on the following physical activities:StandWalkLift/ClimbTalk/HearUse hands to finger, handle or feel.Reach with hands or arms.The Weight or Force requirement in this position is: Up to 40 pounds.Loud environments (examples: metal can manufacturing department, large earth-moving equipment)Controlled Contamination Services is an equal opportunity employer – vets/disability.
