Qualifications

• Four-year high school diploma or equivalent and one year of full-time experience in law enforcement, protection or security.
• Incumbents must satisfy NYS Peace Officer training requirements and obtain certification.
• Candidates must be designated as Peace Officers by NYS CPL.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security staff and assignments to ensure facility safety and order.
• Oversee security operations, incident investigations and coordination of overtime and resources.
• Prepare, review, and submit reports, logs, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure security equipment (radio, CCTV, keys) is operational and accounted for on each tour.
• Appear in court and assist other law enforcement agencies as needed.
