Job summary

The Children’s Village is seeking a Supervising Residential Aid to help ensure the welfare and safety of families and children residing on site.

You will make rounds, engage with residents, communicate with the security team and Director, and accompany the case manager during room inspections.

The role includes monitoring common areas, conducting intakes during evenings, overnights, and weekends, and scheduling and monitoring residential aides on shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in shelter or residential setting.
• Experience with CARES preferred.
• Prefer candidates who are fluent in languages other than English.
• Food Protection Certificate will be required during first few weeks of hire.
• Driver’s License preferred.

Position Overview:

The Supervising Residential Aid will communicate with the security team and Director if an issue or concern arises. The Supervising Residential Aid is expected to accompany the case manager during room inspections if needed. The Supervising Residential Aid will monitor common areas to ensure proper usage. In addition, the Supervising ResidentialAid will conduct intakes during evenings, overnights, and weekends as needed. The Supervising Residential Aid will be responsible for scheduling and monitoring residential aids during their shift.
