Hour Children, Inc. seeks a Residential Aide to create a safe, supportive environment at My Mother’s House and Richmond Hill residences. You will help residents develop independent living skills, monitor movements, and assist with daily activities under the supervision of the House Manager and Sr. Director of Programs.
The position is full-time, non-exempt with evening hours, holidays, and weekends as needed to meet client needs. Compensation is $19.23 per hour.

Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 4 pm - 12 am

The Residential Aide is responsible for developing a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and guests of My Mother’s House (MMH) and Richmond Hill (RH), two of Hour Children’s transitional residences. MMH is a residence that supports up to 14 women and/or families in the reentry process, while RH supports up to 9 single rooms for women. The Residential Aide will focus on creating an environment that centers on community building and supports the continued development of independent living skills. The Residential Aide coordinates and verifies client movement in the facility in conjunction with the House Manager, while also monitoring the client's conduct and overall behavior during tour of duty. This is a full-time position that can include holidays and/or weekends based on client need.
