Children's Village, Inc. is seeking a Supervising Residential Aide in Brooklyn, NY.

The full‑time position involves ensuring the welfare and safety of families and children, moving through the site to engage with residents, and coordinating with security and the director on issues. The role includes accompanying the case manager for room inspections, monitoring common areas, and conducting intakes during evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in shelter or residential setting.
• CARES experience preferred.
• Fluency in languages other than English preferred.
• Food Protection Certificate required within first weeks of hire.
• Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make rounds throughout the building to assure welfare and safety of families and children.
• Engage with families and communicate with the security team and Director when issues arise.
• Accompany the case manager during room inspections when needed.
• Monitor common areas to ensure proper usage.
• Conduct intakes during evenings, overnights, and weekends as needed.
• Schedule and monitor residential aides during shifts.
