Elevate Legal Talent is seeking an experienced Supervising Litigation Attorney for a leading California-based firm. You will lead a high-volume litigation practice, oversee a multi-tiered team of attorneys, law clerks, and paralegals, and balance strategic oversight with day-to-day case execution.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active California license to practice law.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience, ideally including high-volume defense litigation.
• Experience managing a large caseload and supervising a multi-role legal team.
• Experience with discovery motions, including motions to compel and terminating sanctions.

Elevate is working with a leading California-based legal services organization that partners with insurance carriers, businesses, and individuals to manage complex, high-volume litigation matters.

We are seeking an experienced Supervising Litigation Attorney to lead a high-volume litigation practice and oversee a multi-tiered team of attorneys, law clerks, legal assistants, and paralegals. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at team management, and has the ability to balance strategic oversight with day-to-day case execution.

The successful candidate will oversee approximately 1,400 active litigation matters, manage case strategy, supervise legal work product, oversee deposition and hearing preparation, and serve as a key point of contact for both clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee a high-volume litigation docket and ensure compliance with court deadlines and filing requirements.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in California
• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience, ideally including high-volume defense litigation (e.g., insurance defense, personal injury, or similar practice area)
• Demonstrated experience managing a large caseload and supervising a multi-role legal team
• Experience with discovery motion practice, including motions to compel and terminating sanctions
• Strong track record of managing depositions, hearings, and inspections at scale
