Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, we invite you to join our dynamic and welcoming work environment.

Your role will support and oversee repairs within Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment team, utilizing your commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills along with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets
• Utilize the work order management system to support store repairs and document activities
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues
• Complete required safety training for equipment operation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders as needed

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Sign-on bonus of $2000 (select locations)
• Bonuses based on performance and other factors
