Job Description

Are you seeking an exciting career opportunity within a dynamic team? Walmart is expanding and actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you have relevant experience, we invite you to bring your skills to our fast-paced, welcoming environment.

As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at our local retail store, your role will involve supporting and overseeing repairs of Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets, utilizing your commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, along with hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Experience with Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass MVR
• Minimum age of 18 and a High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Maintain and repair Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using appropriate skills and tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive and document repair activities.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required safety training for equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following Walmart's safety and environmental policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders as needed.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $56,160 - $106,080
• Sign-on bonus of $2,000 (for select locations)
• Compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications
• Eligible for bonus incentives
