Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to maintain and repair refrigeration HVAC systems in our Downey stores. You will respond to emergencies, diagnose issues, and document repairs using our work order system.

The role requires EPA refrigerant handling certification, a valid driver’s license, and experience in commercial HVAC/R maintenance. Join a team focused on safety, compliance, and excellent facility standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility Refrigeration HVAC equipment using hand, digital and power tools.
• Use work orders management system to receive and document repairs.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely and ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
