A growing underground utility contractor is looking to add a Superintendent to its team in Charlotte, NC. With an established operation and continued growth across the Charlotte market, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced field leader to take responsibility for underground dry utility projects while joining a business offering strong long‑term career progression.

The Role

As the Superintendent, you'll take responsibility for day‑to‑day field operations across underground utility projects, coordinating crews, equipment and project resources to ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule. You'll work closely with Project Managers and operational leadership while driving production, quality and safety in the field.

Requirements

• Superintendent or senior field leadership experience within underground utilities or civil infrastructure.
• Experience with underground electrical, telecommunications, conduit, duct bank and trenching scopes preferred.
• Strong understanding of field production, crew management and construction sequencing.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
