Taylor Ryan Executive Search Partners is partnering with a well-established general contractor in North Texas to hire a Tiltwall Superintendent for ground-up distribution, warehouse, and light manufacturing projects across the DFW area.

You will lead field operations on large tiltwall builds, coordinate the full construction sequence, ensure safety and schedule adherence, and work closely with the Project Manager on RFIs and change orders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience, incl. 3+ years as a Superintendent on tiltwall projects.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale industrial/distribution projects from groundbreaking through CO.
• Strong knowledge of concrete, panel casting/erection, structural steel and building envelope.
• OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain promptly).
• Proficient in scheduling and PM software (MS Project, P6, Procore).
• Strong leadership and communication with subs, owners and inspectors.
• Familiarity with DFW-area municipalities and inspection processes a plus.

• Coordinate crane picks with tilt subcontractors to maintain safety and schedule.
• Build and maintain project schedules, run look-aheads, coordinate meetings.
• Enforce site safety programs and OSHA compliance, keep jobsite organized.
• Oversee QA/QC, including pours, testing, inspections and punch lists.
• Collaborate with Project Manager on RFIs, submittals, COs, and owner/architect communications.
• Hold subcontractors accountable for quality, manpower, and schedule.

Taylor Ryan is partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor with a strong industrial portfolio across North Texas. They’re adding a Tiltwall Superintendent to lead ground-up distribution, warehouse, and light manufacturing projects throughout DFW. This is a chance to join a builder with a steady pipeline, repeat developer clients, and a field team that values experienced leaders.

What You’ll Do

• Lead day-to-day field operations on ground-up tiltwall projects, typically 100,000–1,000,000+ SF
• Manage the full building sequence: site work and pads, slab-on-grade, panel layout and casting, embeds and inserts, panel erection and bracing, steel/joist/deck, roofing, and building shell closeout
• Coordinate crane picks and erection days with tilt subcontractors, keeping safety and schedule on track
• Build and maintain the project schedule, run look‑aheads, and drive subcontractor coordination meetings
• Enforce site safety programs and OSHA compliance, and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
• Oversee QA/QC, including concrete pours, testing, inspections, and punch lists
• Work closely with the Project Manager on RFIs, submittals, change orders, and owner/architect communication
• Hold subcontractors accountable for quality, manpower, and schedule

What You Bring

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience, with at least 3 years as a Superintendent on tiltwall projects
• Proven track record completing large-scale industrial/distribution projects from groundbreaking through certificate of occupancy
• Strong working knowledge of concrete, panel casting and erection, structural steel, and building envelope
• OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
• Proficiency with scheduling and project management software (MS Project, P6, Procore, or similar)
• Strong leadership and communication skills with subs, owners, and inspectors
• Familiarity with DFW-area municipalities and inspection processes a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with cold storage, cross-dock, or spec-to-suite industrial builds
• Background with large concrete subcontractors or self-performing GCs
