Job summary

A nationally ranked multifamily developer-builder is seeking a Superintendent to lead ground-up construction in the Central Valley. Mid-level superintendents who can eventually run projects and senior superintendents with multiple completed projects will be considered.

This direct-hire role works with an owner-builder with a steady project pipeline. Key responsibilities include leading on-site activity, coordinating trades, and ensuring quality, safety, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Ground-up multifamily construction experience is required.
• Strong leadership and field management capabilities.
• Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project and Excel proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run all on-site construction activity with ownership of quality, safety, and schedule
• Coordinate and sequence trades; lead week-ahead planning meetings
• Partner with project management on scope, schedule, and budget
• Track progress and deliverables in Procore and MS Project
• Lead and develop field staff and assistant superintendents
• Report progress to senior leadership and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors

A nationally ranked multifamily developer-builder is hiring a superintendent to lead ground-up construction on its Central Valley projects. Mid-level superintendents ready to run their own job and senior superintendents with multiple completed projects will both be considered. This is a direct-hire role with an owner-builder that keeps a steady pipeline of work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run all on-site construction activity with ownership of quality, safety, and schedule


• Coordinate and sequence trades; lead week-ahead planning meetings


• Partner with project management on scope, schedule, and budget


• Track progress and deliverables in Procore and MS Project


• Lead and develop field staff and assistant superintendents


• Report progress to senior leadership and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors

Qualifications:

• Superintendent experience on ground-up multifamily, apartment, or affordable housing projects


• Strong knowledge of Type III and Type V wood-frame construction (podium a plus)


• Background with general contractors, affordable housing developers, or owner-builders


• Established relationships in the local subcontractor market


• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Excel
