Tom Trese Networking LLC in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Superintendent, Multi-Family with proven experience managing field teams on multi-family housing projects. You will lead daily operations, enforce safety, manage budget, schedule, and quality, and coordinate with the project manager to meet client expectations.

Travel to Cincinnati area preferred; Ohio residency favored. The role includes preconstruction input, production oversight, cost control, and collaboration with subcontractors to deliver

  • OSHA 10 Construction Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, direct and coordinate day-to-day field activities of the project, including subcontractor management.
  • Coordinate materials with field and design requirements.
  • Work with project team to deliver a quality project on time and on budget.
  • Execute project cost control and implement the project schedule.
  • Ensure the quality control program is implemented including the punch list.
  • Mentor and train FE/s and Assistant Superintendents on the project.
  • Maintain safety policies and secure the jobsite.

Job description

Job Title: Superintendent, Multi-Family

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Prefer someone in Ohio but willing to travel to Cincinnati is acceptable)

Compensation: $110K-$125K, dependent on experience and open for discussion

Role Summary

The Project Superintendent is the company’s representative with responsibility and authority for daily coordination and direction of the project so that it is safe, within budget, on schedule, meets the company’s quality standards, and meets the customer’s satisfaction. To accomplish this, you must conceptualize a plan to construct the project and ensure that the daily and weekly activities are consistent with this plan. The Project Superintendent and the Project Manager will work together as a complementary team where the sum of their combined effort is greater than their individual efforts. The project Superintendent can concentrate most of his or her time on the daily and short-range direction of the project.

Key Responsibilities
Preconstruction Phase
  • Assist with development of schedule, phasing, and logistics.
  • Assist with constructability review (if required).
  • Conduct coordination drawing review.
  • Assist with development of bid packages and scopes of work.
  • Assist with the bid, award and procurement of subs and suppliers.
Construction Phase
  • Lead, direct and coordinate the day-to-day field activities of the project, including subcontractor management.
  • Coordinate materials with field and design requirements.
  • Work with the project team to deliver a quality project on time and on budget.
  • Execute project cost control and implement the project schedule.
  • Ensure the quality control program is implemented including the punch list.
  • Actively resolve field issues.
  • Produce daily reports and gather subcontractor daily reports.
  • Participate in OAC meetings and run regular Foreman meetings, making sure minutes are taken.
  • Properly maintain and file project documents, ensuring the correct documents are available in the field.
  • Ensure accurate as-built drawings are being maintained.
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed and the jobsite is secure.
  • Manage the permit and inspection process & all code compliance.
  • Understand the owner contract and responsibilities of the agreement, as well as the subcontracts and POs executed for the project.
  • Train, mentor and educate the FE’s and Assistant Superintendents working under them on the project.
  • Continually analyze and mitigate project risk while ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Business Development
  • Participate in RFQ/RFP responses as needed.
  • Participate in project interviews as needed.
  • Assist with finding and developing future job opportunities.
