GreenMechanicalConstruction in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Superintendent–MechanicalConstruction to lead field operations on commercial and industrial projects. You will supervise crews, coordinate materials and equipment, and ensure safety, productivity, and on-time performance.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in mechanical construction, holds a Kentucky Journeyman Plumbing or HVAC license, and excels at reading construction documents and coordinating teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in commercial/industrial mechanical construction.
• Kentucky Journeyman Plumbing or HVAC license.
• Supervisory experience on similar sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong leadership, planning and organizational skills.
• US work authorization and ability to pass background/drug tests.

WhatYou'llDo:

As a Superintendent, you’ll lead and manage field operations for assigned mechanical construction projects. You’ll oversee crews, coordinate materials and equipment, and ensure that each job site is safe, productive, and operating efficiently.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Organize and oversee job site activities.
• Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Evaluate and interpret construction documents and specifications.
• Generate material takeoffs from project drawings.
• Manage materials, equipment, and company assets on site.
• Direct and supervise field crews and subcontractors.
• Monitor labor allocation, field productivity, and crew efficiency.
• Coordinate deliveries of equipment and materials.
• Maintain necessary certifications and mechanical expertise.
• Provide regular progress updates and attend coordination meetings.
• Complete and maintain required project documentation.
• Assist the Project Manager in managing job costs and schedules.
• Utilize company-issued electronic devices and software systems.

• Dependable, safety-conscious, and adaptable to changing conditions.
• Comfortable using electronic devices and job-related software.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
