Job summary

ColonialWebb is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee change-outs, retrofits, and installations on complex projects. You will supervise day-to-day work of journeymen, apprentices, and helpers, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time performance in line with contract and budget objectives.

You will interpret drawings, review shop drawings, coordinate with trades, and mentor teammates to work safely and productively.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Extensive knowledge of International Codes and HVAC/plumbing systems.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to use project management tools like Procore and BIM.

Responsibilities

• Inspect work in process and completed work for conformance to specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned trade workers.
• Study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements.
• Interpret specifications and drawings for installation areas.
• Review shop drawings for timely field installation.
• Coach teammates to work safely and productively.
• Monitor manpower, tools, and inventory; control costs.
• Ensure hazard reporting and 5x5s and pre-task plans are followed.

ColonialWebb is looking to hire a Superintendent. The primary responsibility of the Superintendent is to oversee change-outs, retrofits, and installations for complex projects. This responsibility includes supervising day to day work activities of other mechanics, apprentices, and helpers.
