ColonialWebb Contractors Company is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead day-to-day site operations in Richmond, VA. You will direct trade crews, manage subcontractors, monitor costs and schedule deliveries while solving on-site problems.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with project teams. Ideal candidates have journeyman-level experience, strong knowledge of HVAC/plumbing systems, and the ability to read and interpret project documents.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience with supervision on construction projects.
• Extensive knowledge of International Codes and HVAC/plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret project documents, specs, blueprints and drawings.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple activities and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise and coordinate the work activities of trade workers and subcontractors.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders for installation areas.
• Review shop drawings and spool drawings for timely field installation.
• Inspect work in progress and completed work for conformance to specs.
• Schedule material and equipment deliveries to maintain the project schedule.
• Attend project meetings and complete daily reports with photos and documents.
• Coach teammates to work safely and productively on site.

The Assistant Construction Superintendent will run the day-to-day operations on the construction site and control the schedule of construction projects.
