Job summary

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day site operations on commercial construction projects in Louisville.
• Coordinate people, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to keep work moving.
• Build and maintain project execution and site logistics plans with the project team.
• Coordinate manpower, labor reporting, and field personnel.
• Plan work with the PM and Project Executive and resolve issues before delays.
• Coordinate cranes, trailers, trucks, and other equipment for on-site needs.
• Drive safety, quality, and on-time execution, and handle disputes professionally.
• Assist with setup through work-in-place and demobilization.

Job description

When you’re the Superintendent, everyone eventually looks to you. The schedule slips, a subcontractor misses a commitment, equipment isn’t where it needs to be, you’re the person who has to see it coming and get the job moving again.

What you’ll do:

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day site operations on commercial construction projects in Louisville, coordinating the people, materials, equipment, and subcontractors needed to keep the work moving.

• Run daily site operations and hold subcontractors, suppliers, and crews accountable to the schedule.
• Build and maintain the project execution and site logistics plans with the project team.
• Coordinate manpower, labor reporting, craft certifications, orientations, and field personnel.
• Work with the PM and Project Executive to plan the work, manage the schedule, and solve problems before they become delays.
• Coordinate cranes, trailers, trucks, and other equipment so the field has what it needs when it needs it.
• Drive safety, quality, specification compliance, subcontractor performance, and on‑time execution.
• Help take the project from setup through work‑in‑place and ultimately closeout and demobilization.

$110K–$125K to lead the field instead of simply react to it. You’ll have real responsibility for how the job runs, with the authority and accountability that come with being the person responsible for onsite execution.

Who you are:

You’re a Superintendent who knows how a construction site actually works. You can organize a complicated jobsite, keep field personnel moving in the same direction, communicate clearly with subcontractors and management, and handle disputes without turning every problem into a bigger one. You have 5+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience, strong organizational skills, a valid driver’s license, and the judgment to make good calls when things don’t go according to plan. Spanish language skills are a plus, not a requirement.
