Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead the field execution of ground-up and expansion light industrial projects across the Dallas–Fort Worth market. This role focuses on safety, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction from site mobilization through closeout.

The ideal candidate will coordinate subcontractors, manage project momentum, and build strong relationships with owners, design professionals, and trade partners on manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Experience leading ground-up light industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of industrial construction methods, building systems, and site development.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain aggressive project schedules.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; OSHA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through final turnover.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules to meet milestones and completion dates.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and project specs.
• Monitor progress with daily reports, photos, and field communication.
• Maintain relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and project documents for accurate execution.
• Oversee punch list, commissioning, and project closeout.

• Manage project logistics, sequencing, and workflow to maximize productivity.
• Facilitate weekly subcontractor and coordination meetings.
• Work closely with Project Managers to identify and resolve schedule, budget, and constructability challenges.
• Monitor and document project progress through daily reports, photographs, and field communication.
• Maintain positive relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and trade partners.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documents to ensure accurate execution.
• Oversee punch list completion, commissioning activities, and project closeout requirements.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and quality on every project.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Proven experience leading ground-up light industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of industrial construction methods, building systems, and site development.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain aggressive project schedules.
• Experience with warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, transportation, maintenance, service, or similar industrial facility construction preferred.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction scheduling software is preferred.
