Superintendent - Leading GC in Gaithersburg, MD

Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

The Superintendent will oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for an experienced construction professional with a strong background in managing teams and coordinating with stakeholders.

My client has been in the business for over 25 years and has one of the most trusted and well-respected names in the D.C. metro market. They provide a full range of General Contracting, Construction Management, and Design-Build Services to clients in a diverse range of market sectors.

This organization completes projects of all sizes and levels of complexity (typically valued between $5M - $40M), whether it be an interior renovation or a full scale, ground-up build. Their portfolio consists of Medical & Commercial Office Buildings, Surgical Centers, High-Profile Government Facilities, Pharmaceutical Spaces, and more.

Description

• Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities and staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, construction plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to maintain project timelines.
• Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
• Prepare and submit daily reports on site activities and project milestones.
• Inspect work to ensure it meets the established quality standards.
• Facilitate communication between the construction team and project managers.
• Maintain a clean and organized construction site at all times.
