Job summary

MPI is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee field execution for large-scale multifamily and affordable housing developments in Southern California. You will own projects from groundbreaking through turnover, driving schedules, subcontractor performance, quality, and safety.

The role requires hands-on leadership with a track record of managing $20M-$60M projects, strong scheduling and coordination skills, and the ability to run field operations independently in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Superintendent on multifamily construction projects.
• Proven background managing projects valued between $20M and $60M.
• Strong understanding of multifamily construction sequencing and lifecycle management.
• Experience leading podium, wrap, walk-up, or multi-building residential projects strongly preferred.

This is an opportunity to join a builder with a strong pipeline of work and take ownership of projects ranging from podium developments and wrap-style communities to large-scale multifamily housing projects valued between $20M and $60M. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on field leader who understands multifamily construction from groundbreaking through turnover, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and can independently drive project schedules, subcontractor performance, quality, and safety.

Our Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Lead all field operations from groundbreaking through project completion.

• Coordinate subcontractors and trade partners to ensure efficient workflow.

• Base Salary: $150,000 - $175,000
• Target Bonus: Approximately 20% of Base Salary
