Job summary

Skanska USA is seeking a Superintendent 2 (Project Lead) to oversee field operations, ensure safety, and drive on-time project completion. You will supervise field labor and assistants, coordinate subcontractors, and manage the master schedule in alignment with contract documents and budget.

The role requires deep experience in construction, planning, and logistics, with leadership in mentoring fellow superintendents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of being a Safety and QAQC Cultural Champion.
• 8+ years of proven construction experience.
• 5+ years effectively coordinating subcontractor activities.
• 3+ years experience helping to create a master schedule with a scheduler and managing the schedule during construction.
• 3+ years experience with planning a project and creating logistic plans.
• 2+ years experience with reading and understanding plans, specifications and subcontractor contracts.
• 2+ years experience with mentoring and managing other Superintendents.
• Currently, the company is not considering applicants for this position who now or in the future require employment sponsorship by the company.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations in assigned areas to ensure safety, timeliness, profitability, and ethical execution.
• Directly supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents to meet contract documents, budget, and schedule.

• Uphold safety and QAQC standards across the project site.
• Support project budgeting and ethical, compliant project execution.

Salary Low
