We’re partnered with a well‑established general contractor seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects throughout the Charleston area.

This is a key onsite leadership role responsible for driving schedule_feat_ , safety, quality, and subcontractor coordination from groundbreaking through closeout.

Description

• Oversee day‑to‑day field operations and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
• Manage subcontractors, sequencing, and onsite coordination toبرة support project milestones
• Lead onsite safety initiatives, enforce compliance, and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
• Collaborate with the Project Manager on scheduling, procurement, and issue resolution
• Maintain daily reports, logs, and documentation related to progress and field activities
• Conduct site meetings and ensure all stakeholders stay aligned throughout each project phase
• Support punch list completion and assist with project turnover

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a general contractor
• Proven background managing ground‑up or large‑scale commercial projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor management, and field safety
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands‑on, solutions‑driven approach
