The company is seeking an experienced and driven Construction Superintendent to oversee all field operations on major construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule are met or exceeded. This leadership role is critical to the successful delivery of high-profile projects, often in public or institutional settings.
As Superintendent, you’ll be responsible for supervising site activities, managing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, and maintaining rigorous quality and safety standards. You’ll also collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients from pre-construction through project closeout.
10–15 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably with public school or institutional facilities
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Advanced understanding of DSA/code requirements, structural systems, and building components
Proven experience in preparing and updating project master schedules and detailed short interval schedules (SIS)
Skilled in field coordination, constructability analysis, safety inspections, and change management
Strong ability to read, interpret, and communicate plans and specifications
Capable of leading subcontractor teams, conducting site meetings, and documenting daily progress
Familiarity with local subcontractor market and construction trades
Experience with water intrusion prevention, long-lead procurement, and RFI creation
Background in hospital, campus-wide, or large commercial construction
Preconstruction, estimating, or bidding experience
