Job Opportunity: Superintendent

We are collaborating with a General Contractor firm to recruit an experienced Superintendent in the Philadelphia area. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on projects such as Healthcare, Data Centers, Schools, Commercial Offices, and Light Industrial. This is a permanent position with projects within a commutable distance, requiring no overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and delegate tasks with project team members, including Area Superintendents and Foremen.
2. Collaborate with the Safety Manager to ensure a safe work environment.
3. Manage daily construction activities.
4. Schedule crews and subcontractors.
5. Arrange for materials and equipment to be on-site as needed.
6. Work with foremen to coordinate daily production plans.
7. Oversee quality control.
8. Report daily work progress.
9. Provide technical expertise and coaching to resolve production issues and verify corrective actions.
10. Maintain project schedules, meet specifications, ensure safety, and fulfill Project Manager expectations.
11. Interface with the project owner on assigned projects.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on projects exceeding $5 Million.
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
3. Ability to motivate and lead teams efficiently.
4. Proven ability to multi-task and solve problems independently.
5. Demonstrated career stability and success as a Superintendent.
