Job Description: Construction Project Manager - Sports Division

This position involves a full-time traveling assignment across the United States to support sports projects, reporting to the Sports Market Segment Group. Prior sports-related project experience is strongly preferred.

Reports to: Deputy Operations Manager, Operations Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate with the Operations Manager for assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions.
  2. Assign and coordinate trade field assignments based on project needs.
  3. Support Superintendents throughout project duration.
  4. Review project schedules with Superintendents and Foremen, ensuring critical activities and ROJ dates are met.
  5. Document and communicate project field issues impacting budget, quality, or schedule.
  6. Respond to subcontractor requests related to field issues.
  7. Oversee the development and maintenance of a Resource Allocation Control System (RACS).
  8. Guide the implementation of the Project QA/QC program.
  9. Identify self-perform opportunities and assist in developing proposals.
  10. Manage self-perform activities.
  11. Work with the Safety Director to implement safety programs.
  12. Review ReCAP progress for field tradespeople.
  13. Maintain a progression/succession plan for high-potential tradesmen.
  14. Manage tradesmen training programs.
  15. Support business development and project pursuits with operational planning.
  16. Assist in developing logistics plans during pre-construction and early project phases.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus at least 10 years of related experience or equivalent. Strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, SAP, SharePoint. Ability to work independently and travel over 50% of the time.

Physical Demands: Ability to climb stairs, ladders, negotiate construction sites, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks as needed. Vision and dexterity requirements are specified.

Work Environment: On-site at construction locations with exposure to mechanical parts, heights, airborne particles, weather, and noise.
