Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Superintendent to lead large-scale commercial and multifamily construction projects in the Kansas City area. The role oversees field operations, coordinates subs and vendors, and ensures projects stay on schedule, budget and safety standards.

Travel to multiple project sites may be required, with a focus on quality and collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of superintendent experience on complex developments and is proficient with construction management

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing large-scale construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage field operations from mobilization to turnover.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, inspectors and field staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead diverse, high-profile commercial and multifamily projects from groundbreaking through turnover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and field personnel to maintain schedules and budgets.
• Read and interpret drawings, specs and contract documents to ensure quality and safety.
• Conduct subcontractor meetings, site inspections, and progress coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and safe job sites.
• Leverage Procore/Bluebeam/Microsoft Project to manage project information and schedules.

Job Details

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, or other large-scale construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage field operations from site mobilization through project completion.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel while maintaining project schedules.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, quality control, and safety best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience conducting subcontractor meetings, site inspections, and progress coordination meetings.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and a commitment to maintaining safe job sites.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to build strong relationships across project teams.
• Experience utilizing construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule expectations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between project sites as required.
