Path Construction Southwest is seeking a qualified Superintendent to join our organization in the Austin, TX area. We are a rapidly growing general contractor headquartered in Arlington Heights, IL, with additional offices in Scottsdale, AZ; Charlotte, NC; and Dallas, TX, serving clients and projects throughout the United States.

The right candidate will have 5+ years of construction management experience across various asset classes, including but not limited to: Higher Education, Retail, Multi-family, Hospitality, Healthcare, Restaurant, Transportation, Water and Waste Treatment, Self-Storage, Senior Living, Convention Centers, Laboratories, Correctional, etc. Path values individuals with strong technical skills, good communication skills, and keen attention to detail.

Duties for Superintendents include:

1. Leading and managing subcontractors.
2. Overseeing all phases of construction projects from planning to completion, for public works or private commercial projects across various industries.
3. Administering safety programs and maintaining site safety.
4. Representing customer service and managing quality control programs.

We seek Superintendents who are experts in general construction techniques, problem-solving, and technical knowledge across various construction facets such as concrete, masonry, metals, wood & plastics, moisture proofing, openings, finishes, specialties, equipment, furnishings, conveying systems, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communication, security, earthwork, exterior improvements, utilities, demolition, and more.

Requirements

• 5+ years of building and construction management experience.
• OSHA Site Safety certification.
• Proficiency with modern technology and excellent communication skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction sites, understanding multiple facets of construction work.
• General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and desire to grow with the company.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed.

• 9+ years of building and construction management experience.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in commercial, hospital, public projects, schools, multifamily, etc.
• Estimating experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of project management software (Microsoft Office, SAGE 300 CRE).
• OSHA 30-Hour Training certification.
• LEED project experience.
• Proven experience in multi-story construction.
