Ramsey Contracting, LLC is a full-service general contracting company serving the greater Austin area for over 10 years. We're looking for a Construction Superintendent to oversee the physical construction of our organization's properties. You will manage a team of contractors and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. As Construction Superintendent, you should be experienced in handling people and know how to juggle many tasks at once. Since you will be in charge of overseeing multiple sites, you should have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to make sound decisions, have the initiative to define goals, make plans and solve problems. The ultimate goal is to deliver buildings that meet quality standards for our organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and direct all construction and maintenance workers engaged in maintenance and repair projects.
2. Assist in planning, scheduling, organizing, and coordinating work assignments.
3. Prepare detailed cost estimates on major construction projects.
4. Manage, monitor, and coordinate all job sites to ensure safety and quality standards.
5. Hire competent personnel as required.
6. Provide training and direction to all personnel on safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and OSHA-related training.
7. Conduct site inspections as required.
8. Supervise contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure adherence to policies, labor agreements, and legal compliance.
9. Provide photo documentation of construction progress and inspection reports for presentation to the general contractor.
10. Consult with clients and communicate customer needs.
11. Act as a mediator between clients and upper management.
12. Communicate with subcontractors and in-house workers.
13. Plan and execute schedules with subcontractors and in-house workers.
14. Maintain a daily log of progress.
15. Coordinate all construction project activities and services across the construction team.
