RWE Design Build in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up projects in the Indianapolis area. You will oversee construction efforts, monitor schedules, ensure quality, and coordinate with owners, architects and subs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial ground-up construction, strong technical and communication skills, and is OSHA 30 certified.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial ground-up construction experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• 5+ years of ground-up, commercial experience required.
• Must create an initial project schedule and review weekly with subs, PMs and stakeholders.
• Strong technical, communication and computer skills; Procore, MS Office and document systems required.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, regulations and codes; OSHA 30 certified.

Responsibilities

• Learn plans, specs, site, local codes and inspection procedures.
• Coordinate and maintain schedules to meet drawings and specs.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the project.
• Lead daily/weekly meetings with subcontractors to coordinate activities.
• Ensure materials are delivered per construction schedules.

• Maintain daily logs, progress photos and weekly Procore reports.

RWE Design Build is looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead our construction projects located throughout the Indianapolis area. This position requires the candidate to lead construction efforts and monitor the progression of schedules.

Responsibilities:

Become familiar with and understand plans, specifications, site, local codes, local officials and inspection procedures

Coordinate and maintain construction schedules to ensure projects are being completed according to drawings and specs

Ensures quality standards are being met throughout the project

Conduct meetings with subcontractor representatives of the project on a daily and/or weekly basis to schedule and coordinate construction activities

Ensure materials are delivered to construction sites according to construction schedules

Work with owners, owner’s reps, architects and subcontractors to resolve any conflicts that may arise and communicate any such conflicts immediately to the Project Manager

Create and maintain look ahead schedules for every project

Maintain daily logs, progress photographs and weekly reports in Procore

Complete and submit all paperwork as required

Attend job meetings and/or any other meetings as may be required for the successful and timely completion of the project(s)

Schedule and attend all required inspections

Compile and schedule punch list items for completion as well as coordinate project closeouts

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial ground-up construction experienceas a CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
  
• MUST HAVE 5+ YEARS OF GROUND UP, COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE
  
• Must currently create an initial schedule for the projectand review weekly with sub-contractors, PMs, and all Stakeholders
  
• Must possess strong technical, communication and computerskills, including competency with Procore, MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Dropbox,and document management systems
  
• Knowledge of safety procedures, regulations and codes
  
• OSHA 30 Certified
• Local travel is required for this position
  
• An ideal candidate will have experience in one or more ofthe following areas: ground-up construction, additions, interior remodels,design build, carpentry
