Job summary

Tiello LLC, partnered with a highly regarded local Commercial General Contractor in Boston, MA, seeks a Project Superintendent to lead Ground-Up and TI Restaurant and Retail projects ranging from $1M to $20M.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction, strong leadership, and a track record managing subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics on restaurant and retail builds.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction (retail + restaurant)
• Experience managing subcontractors, project schedules, site logistics, and day-to-day field operations
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and building codes
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all aspects of construction projects and field operations
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Responsible for project schedules, daily construction activities, and maintaining project timelines
• Manage project teams and multiple projects simultaneously
• Ensure work complies with city/county requirements and building codes
• Maintain strong communication with owner and architect on key information
• Review plans and specs to identify issues or conflicts
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure work aligns with plans
• Conduct regular site walks and maintain quality control
• Coordinate inspections, deliveries, and daily project activities
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite
• Accountable for key project details and client satisfaction

Tiello is partnered with a highly regarded local Commercial General Contractor based in Boston, MA, in their search for a Project Superintendent (Restaurant & Retail Construction) to support Ground-Up and TI projects ranging in value from $1 M to $20 M.

Role Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the Commercial General Construction Industry and will be responsible for leading successful Ground-Up and TI Restaurant and Retail Projects.

• Ensure that the work is in compliance with City or County requirements and building codes.

• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications and identify potential issues or conflicts.

• Conduct regular site walks and maintain quality control throughout the project.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 3+ years as a Superintendent managing commercial construction retail + restaurant projects.
• Bachelors degree in construction management or engineering (preferred)
• Experience working on Commercial Restaurant and Retail projects, both large TI and small Ground-Up
• Experience managing subcontractors, project schedules, site logistics, and day-to-day field operations
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and building codes
• Strong communication and organizational skills
