Job summary

Tiello LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Traveling/Local Construction Superintendent to oversee high-end restaurant and retail projects within a 30-mile radius of Dallas.

You will manage day-to-day on-site activities, coordinate with subcontractors, maintain schedules, and ensure quality and safety standards. The role requires 5+ years in high-end restaurant construction and strong leadership, with cradle-to-grave project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong tenures in high-end restaurant new construction in a Superintendent position.
• At least 5+ years of experience working on New Construction High End Restaurant projects.
• Knowledge in Procore software.
• Must be able to manage an entire project from cradle to grave.

Responsibilities

• On-site management of construction activities including schedule coordination with subs and internal teams.
• Direct daily communications to Project Manager; document site progress via field reports.
• Ensure cost control, schedule adherence and quality across projects.
• Lead weekly project meetings and support permitting and subcontractor invoicing.

Job Title: Local Construction Superintendent (Restaurant/Retail Projects)

Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: $115,000 – $135,000 base + OT (FWW structure) + Mileage Reimbursement

Benefits:

Tiello has partnered with a premier General Contractor in Florida and Texas on their search for an experienced Traveling/LocalSuperintendent to oversee High End Restaurant/Retail projects in and around Dallas, Texas (within 30 mile radius).

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day on-site management of construction activities including maintaining the project progress schedule, coordinating work with internal resources and subcontractors, preparing material takeoffs, material management, reviewing subcontracts, reviewing estimates, evaluating change orders, and interfacing with customers.
• Plans, directs, coordinates, organizes & schedules activities to ensure that goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget.
• Daily communications of all on site activities, issues, and progress to the Project Manager. Document daily construction activities via field reports which are to be completed and faxed/emailed to the Project Manager and Director of Field Operations
• Working with Project Manager to ensure projects costs, schedule and quality are maintained.
• Reviews the contract documents and ensures the project is in compliance.
• Conducts weekly project meetings to coordinate and communicate project status and ensure the budget, schedule and quality expectations are achieved.
• Assist the Project Manager in the permitting process.
• Responsible for managing all subcontractors
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices and work with Project Manager to develop costing projections.
• Primary problem solver and handles conflict resolution related to field activities. Initiate corrective action as warranted to achieve the project expectations and goals.

Qualifications:

• Strong tenures in high-end restaurant new construction in a Superintendent position
• At least 5+ years of experience (minimum) working on New Construction High End Restaurant projects
• Strong work ethic, team player with strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• Excellent critical thinking, detail-oriented, problem-solving, mathematical, and sound judgment skills
• Knowledge in Procore software
• Must be able to manage an entire project from cradle to grave
