Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Bridge Foreman or Superintendent to lead high-impact bridge and heavy civil projects across Vermont. The role offers $38-$48 per hour, with overtime, per diem, and travel to remote sites.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in bridge and heavy civil construction, with advanced knowledge in steel erection, concrete work, and earthmoving. CDL preferred; valid license required. Health, 401(k), profit sharing, ESOP, and vacation are included.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in bridge and heavy civil construction.
• Advanced knowledge of steel erection, concrete construction, pile driving, rigging, traffic control, carpentry, and earthwork.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
• Experience with railroad bridges, welding, operating equipment, and drilling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead crews on bridge and heavy civil construction projects.
• Direct daily field operations including steel erection, concrete construction, pile driving, and earthwork.
• Oversee rigging, traffic control, carpentry, and related site activities to ensure safe, efficient progress.
• Coordinate work sequencing, quality control, and schedule adherence on active job sites.
• Manage out-of-town and remote assignments throughout Vermont as needed.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and project requirements while mentoring crew members.
