Job description

A Top 20 ENR General Contractor, is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground-up and fit-out construction projects with a strong preference for data center, mission critical, industrial, or large-scale commercial experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering large ground-up projects within one or more of the following sectors:

• Industrial / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field staff, scheduling, logistics, and daily site operations.
• Maintain project safety, quality control, and production schedules in line with company standards.
• Lead site meetings and collaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, and design teams.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and local building requirements.
• Drive schedule performance and maintain strong subcontractor accountability on site.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor.
• Experience delivering ground-up industrial, mission critical, shell & core, or data center projects.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Texas for project assignments.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, site logistics, safety, and field coordination.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
