Job summary

Haggerty Construction is seeking a proactive Superintendent to oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization to demobilization. You will ensure quality, safety, cost control, and client satisfaction while liaising with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

Responsibilities include coordinating field activities, maintaining documentation, leading weekly safety meetings, and ensuring OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on construction experience (journeyman or foreman background).
• Advanced knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and building systems.
• Proven leadership and motivational abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe PDF, and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work meets quality and specification standards.
• Coordinate mobilization, on-site signage, and branding.
• Direct daily activities of subcontractors, vendors, and staff.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to resolve field conflicts.
• Lead safety meetings and maintain attendance records.
• Maintain daily reports, RFI/changes, and as-built drawings.

PositionSummary

TheSuperintendentisresponsibleforoverseeingandmanagingallaspectsofassignedconstructionprojectsfrommobilizationtodemobilization,ensuringquality,safety,costcontrol,andclientsatisfaction.Thisroleactsastheon-siteleaderandprimarypointofcontactbetweenHaggertyConstruction,subcontractors,vendors,andclients.TheSuperintendentensuresworkisperformedaccordingtoplans,specifications,safetystandards,andschedulerequirements.

• Managefieldcoordination,logistics,andschedulingwithalltradesandserveastheproject’sliaisontotheclient,projectteam,andsubcontractors.

• Maintainemergencymedicalkitsandsafetydocumentation.
• ConductmonthlyvehicleinspectionsandensureOSHAcompliance.
• Leadregularsubcontractorsafetymeetingsandorientations.

• SubmitdetailedDailyReportswithphotosbyFridayofeachweek.
• DocumentandcommunicatechangeordersandRFI’stotheProjectManager.
• Maintainaccurateas-builtdrawingsthroughouttheproject.
• Trackcompanytoolsandmaintaintheirsecurityandcondition.
• CommunicatedailywithProjectManager/Coordinatorandprovideupdates.
• MaintainthecleanlinessandorganizationofHCIvehiclesandjobequipment.
• Maintainandupdatethe5-WeekLookAheadSchedule.
• CoordinateinspectionswithAHJs,governmententities,andprivateagencies.
• Submitmanpowerrequests48hoursinadvancetoProductionManager.
• Scheduletradesandmaterialswithbuildingcontactsandowners.
• Participateinjobstart-up,closeout,andkickoffmeetings.
• Documentthelifeoftheprojectthroughjobsitephotos.
• Respondtoemailswithin24hours;checkemailfourtimesdaily.
• Clearlycommunicateupdates,issues,andprojectexpectationstoclientsandtheinternaltime.
• RepresentHaggertyConstructionprofessionally.
• Otherdutiesasassigned.

Qualifications

Required:
