STO Building Group is looking for an experienced Superintendent to join their team in the White Plains/Stamford area. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of field experience in commercial projects and will be responsible for coordinating subcontracted work forces and ensuring safety standards are met.

Additionally, strong supervisory skills and excellent communication abilities are required. The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $150,000, along with various benefits including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of field experience in commercial projects.
• Experience in supervisory roles like General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.

Job Description

Pavarini Northeast, part of the STO Building Group, is seeking a Superintendent in White Plains/Stamford area to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the project schedule, maintains reports accurately describing project status
• Responsible for the timely and cost effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects
• Reviews status and project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives on a regular basis. Large projects include multiple Superintendents.
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when operating tools and equipment.
• Directs subcontractor activities within ground up Residential projects
• Analyzes manpower, material, equipment requirements, and interfaces the requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendent.
• Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction Management
• Prepares reports and forecasts, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities
• Ensures safety standards and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craftsmen and others when in the operational area, tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of field experience in commercial projects. With Higher Education or Life Science experience a big plus.
• Experience should include some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Well developed, communications, interpersonal, organizational and team work skills are required.

Salary

• $100,000-$150,000
• Eligible for discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
