Job summary

Sunbelt Waterproofing & Restoration, LLC in San Marcos, Texas, is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations and coordinate crews, schedules, and client communication. This full-time role requires strong leadership, OSHA compliance, and a proactive approach to project management.

You will oversee daily field operations, manage manpower and equipment across multiple sites, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while maintaining open communication with project

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction industry experience, waterproofing/restoration experience a plus.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Ability to communicate and lead others.
• Ability to lead multiple crews on multiple sites.
• Ability to work independently without significant supervision.
• MS Excel, Word, and Outlook knowledge.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Must be able to work outside in changing weather conditions.
• Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and overtime when necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to differing job locations.

Job description

Sunbelt Waterproofing & Restoration, LLC is looking for an experienced Superintendent to join our Texas team. We need someone who leads by example, takes ownership, and communicates clearly with crews, project managers, and clients. This role oversees daily field operations, coordinates manpower and schedules, and addresses challenges early to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and to Sunbelt’s quality standards.

Responsibilities

Participate with the project manager in preparing a schedule of construction activities and their sequence, the organization structure, staff selection, and the manpower and construction equipment requirements of the project

Direct and control the total construction project to meet specifications and within the allotted time schedule in an efficient manner to produce the expected profit

Inform all supervisors promptly of any construction schedule changes

Assist in the preparation of all job progress and cost reports to accurately reflect actual costs

Input crew’s time and production accurately daily

Ensure that the crew & job site met the requirements of the safety protocol of the company, as well as, OSHA.

Report regularly to the project manager to keep them constantly informed on job progress, plans, and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules

Organize people, tools, and equipment and plan/manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results

Demonstrate leadership skills with ability and willingness to face challenges, direct others, and effectively address conflict

Exhibit commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes, making necessary changes and meeting/exceeding internal and external customer expectations

Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

5+ Years of experience within the construction industry (Waterproofing/ Restoration Experience is a plus)

OSHA 30 Certification

Valid Driver’s license

Ability to communicate and lead others

Ability to lead multiple crews spread among multiple jobs

Able to work independently without significant supervision

MS excel, word, and outlook knowledge

Ability to multitask

Ability to read and interpret drawing blueprints and specifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
