Job summary

Landmark Builders is seeking an experienced commercial superintendent in the Bay Area to lead on-site construction for life science and related facilities. The role entails coordinating with subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, and city agencies to ensure quality and compliance.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of Bay Area superintendent experience, strong MS Project/PlanGrid/Procore skills, and a valid CA driver's license. A safe, professional, and proactive leader is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum as a commercial superintendent in the Bay Area.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, PlanGrid, Procore and Microsoft Project.
• Valid California Driver’s License with a clean DMV record.
• Familiar with Cal-OSHA safety requirements and site safety enforcement.
• Professional image with integrity and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site construction activities and personnel from start to finish.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, and municipal agencies.
• Create project schedules using Microsoft Project and implement recovery strategies.
• Coordinate prompt completion of punch lists and site demobilization.

Skills, Qualifications, and Work Experience

• Previous rapport with local City inspectors and subcontractors is a must.
• 3 years minimum as a commercial superintendent in the bay area with a track record of successful project completions and high customer satisfaction.
• Solid computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, PlanGrid, Procore, and Microsoft Project.
• Valid and current California Driver’s License with a clean DMV record.
• Promote and maintain a safe job site in accordance with the company’s safety policy, while remedying any hazards immediately.Must be familiar with Cal-OSHA safety requirements and be ready to enforce all site safety regulations.
• Portray a professional image, while displaying a high level of integrity, work ethics, professionalism, and leadership.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site construction activities and personnel from start to finish.
• Coordinate and manage the sub-contractors, owners, architects, engineers, and municipal agencies ensuring quality control and project compliance while maintaining a positive relationship.
• Create overall project schedule using Microsoft Project and determine sequence of work including implementing recovery strategies to maintain the project schedule; update and adjust it on a bi-weekly basis.
• Coordinate the prompt completion of all punch list items and efficient demobilization from the jobs site.
