Job summary

Landmark Builders in the Bay Area is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead commercial Life Science improvements and related projects. You will read plans, manage subcontractors, and maintain schedules to keep projects on track.

The role requires strong organization, the ability to coordinate multiple projects, and effective communication with clients and teams. A valid California driver’s license is required, and a commitment to safety and quality is essential.

• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Prepare and assemble project proposals and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble new project proposals, develop estimates and detailed quantity estimates.
• Set-up and attend job walk-throughs with clients and subcontractors.
• Complete subcontractor buy-out and subcontractor selection.Prepare and process all aspects of subcontractor processes including subcontracts, change orders, purchase orders, submittals and RFI’s.Maintain projects/files/software in an orderly manner.
• Run owner/contractor weekly job meetings including timely follow up and distribution of meeting minutes.
• Oversee and manage the construction schedule on a weekly basis.This includes forecasting and identifying problems and determining the best solution to ensure the project stays on schedule.
• Prepare monthly billings and review and approve all job invoices.

Skills, Qualifications, and Work Experience

• Solid computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Project, PlanGrid, Blue Beam and Procore.
• Valid and current California Driver’s License with a clean DMV record.
• Must be able to read plans, manage subcontractors, proficient in creating, updating and adhering to a schedule.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in accordance with procedures, with an emphasis on accuracy and proper follow-up/reporting.
• Detail oriented team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands.
• This is not a remote work position.
• Ability to work in the United States.
