CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for healthcare and life sciences construction projects. The role focuses on on-site leadership, regulatory compliance, and effective use of Procore to ensure safe, compliant, high-quality execution in clinical, pharmaceutical manufacturing and laboratory environments.

Strong emphasis on OSHA safety, scheduling and cost control, with supervision of subcontractors and direct labor.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Superintendent on healthcare and life sciences projects.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Procore proficiency for document control, field reporting, RFIs and submittals.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field supervision to ensure safety, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners and direct labor to meet milestones and quality standards.
• Enforce OSHA-based safety programs with regular briefings and inspections.

Superintendent

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations for healthcare and life sciences construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure safe, compliant, high-quality execution of projects in clinical, pharmaceutical manufacturing and laboratory environments. This role focuses on on-site leadership, regulatory compliance, schedule and cost control, and effective use of construction management tools like Procore.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field supervision of healthcare and life sciences construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule and within budget.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trade partners and direct labor to meet project milestones and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce project safety programs in accordance with OSHA requirements (including OSHA 30) and company policies; conduct regular safety briefings and inspections.
• Oversee project documentation, RFIs, submittals, daily reports and change management using Procore; maintain accurate as-built records.
• Coordinate with owners, design teams, QA/QC, commissioning agents and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements and acceptance criteria are met.
• Ensure work meets stringent cleanliness and contamination-control requirements for cleanrooms, laboratories, clinics and pharmaceutical manufacturing spaces.
• Perform quality control inspections, troubleshoot construction issues in the field and drive timely corrective actions.
• Manage site logistics, sequencing, temporary utilities and material handling to optimize site productivity and minimize disruption to sensitive environments.
• Support start-up, turnover and commissioning activities, including coordination of inspections and punch-list completion.
• Mentor and develop field staff, maintain strong communication with project management, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on healthcare and life sciences projects (clinics, laboratories, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or similar).
• OSHA 30 certification required and demonstrated commitment to enforcing safety standards on site.
• Expertise using Procore (document control, field reporting, RFIs and submittals).
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, sequencing and subcontractor management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills; able to coordinate multiple stakeholders in regulated environments.
• Physical ability to work on active construction sites and travel between job sites as required.
• Preferred / nice-to-have: familiarity with HCAI and OSHPD processes, experience with cleanroom construction and contamination control, background in pharmaceutical manufacturing or GLP/GMP environments.
