Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to oversee complex infrastructure projects across the Greater Philadelphia area. You will lead field operations from site mobilisation through project completion, ensuring safety, efficiency and high quality standards.

We undertake transportation, bridge, marine, utility and water infrastructure projects with typical values from $3M to $80M.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent within heavy civil construction.
• Experience delivering bridge/highway/transportation projects.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple crews while maintaining safety and quality.
• Experience in marine, structural concrete, deep foundations or water/wastewater projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Greater Philadelphia Area | $115,000-$130,000 + Company Vehicle + ESOP

An established employee-owned heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to oversee complex infrastructure projects across the Greater Philadelphia region.

With decades of experience delivering transportation, bridge, marine, utility and water infrastructure projects, the company has built a reputation for self-performing technically challenging work while maintaining an excellent safety culture. Typical project values range from $3M-$80M.

The Role

You’ll lead field operations from site mobilisation through project completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing field crews and subcontractors on heavy civil projects
• Driving safety, productivity and quality across site operations
• Coordinating manpower, equipment and construction activities
• Monitoring project schedules and budgets
• Working closely with Project Managers, foremen and clients to ensure successful delivery

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent within heavy civil construction
• Background delivering bridge, highway or transportation projects
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple crews while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Additional experience in marine, structural concrete, deep foundations or water/wastewater projects is advantageous.
