Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent in Los Angeles to coordinate on-site activities, manage safety programs, and ensure projects stay on time and budget. You will lead Ryan employees and subcontractors, train personnel, and work with project management across scope areas.

You will develop CPM schedules, assist with budgets, oversee procurement, and implement quality control, while documenting daily progress and leading meetings with trades and owners.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience coordinating on-site with subcontractors is preferred.
• Ability to manage safety programs and project budgets.

Job Description: The Superintendent is responsible for the coordination of the work of all Ryan employees, subcontractors and project management on the jobsite for completion on time and on budget. This position enforces safety programs while managing and training personnel; understands and controlling project budget. Works with trades foremen, superintendent and project management of all scopes of the project; owners and/or tenants.

Some things you can expect to do:

• Develop a site-specific safety program and administer project safety per Ryan safety policies and procedures and develop a job specific Job Safety/Hazard Analysis.
• Manage subcontractors in the performance of their work per contract.
• Develop and understand a CPM computer-generated schedule and be able to track that schedule.
• Assist in the development and review of the overall construction budget and manage the project within that budget.
• Assist with material procurement.
• Establish and monitor the Quality Control program for the project.
• Daily documentation and file and print management.
• Hold, prepare, and document required meetings.
