Job summary

Walbridge is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead large-scale projects in the US with a heavy emphasis on coordinating multiple crafts, safety, and schedule adherence. This role requires 8+ years of supervisory experience on commercial or industrial projects with $15M+ budgets, plus travel of 70%+.

A valid driver’s license and passport are required. The position offers significant responsibility across planning, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent, and eight (8) + years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, commercial or industrial projects.
• Experience on Commercial or Industrial projects with budgets of at least $15M.
• Valid US driver’s license and passport; willingness to travel 70%+

Responsibilities

Overview

The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Superintendent to lead and manage large-scale construction projects. This includes overseeing the entire project lifecycle from feasibility to completion, developing project strategies, plans, and budgets, and assembling qualified project teams. The role also involves scheduling, coordinating, and supervising craft employee activities, which may include supervising various trade groups (electricians, boilermakers, and carpenters) in different construction disciplines such as, civil, structural, electrical.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities:

Qualifications

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, and eight (8) + years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, commercial or industrial projects.
• Must have experience working on Commercial or Industrial projects with budgets of at least $15M.
• A valid driver's license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel; travel is estimated at 70+%.

Ideally, you'll also have:

• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, and cost control.
• Experience supervising, motivating and mentoring cross-functional teams.
• Successful background maintaining high safety standards and delivering quality outcomes.
