US Enhanced Personnel is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent who takes ownership of projects, leads with confidence, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality work.

The Superintendent serves as the primary field representative, managing daily construction activities, coordinating with Project Managers, subcontractors, owners, inspectors, and other stakeholders to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety requirements.

An established, Triad-based commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent who takes ownership of projects, leads with confidence, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

The Superintendent serves as the primary field representative and is responsible for the day-to-day management of construction activities. This position works closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, architects, owners, inspectors, local government officials, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to established quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who plans ahead, communicates effectively, solves problems, holds others accountable, and takes personal responsibility for project success.

• Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all daily construction activities on assigned projects.
• Lead preconstruction planning and review plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and short-term look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, equipment, inspections, and jobsite activities.
• Maintain safe, organized jobsites and enforce OSHA safety requirements.
• Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Perform or verify construction layout and surveying as required.
• Schedule and coordinate required inspections.
• Lead subcontractor and project coordination meetings.
• Identify potential project issues and work with Project Managers to develop solutions.
• Monitor field activities for schedule, quality, and cost impacts.
• Maintain daily reports, safety documentation, erosion control reports, as-built drawings, progress photographs, and inspection records.
• Coordinate punch lists, final inspections, and project closeout.
• Maintain professional relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction Superintendent experience, including private and/or public projects.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects generally ranging from $1 million to $20 million.
• Experience with ground-up construction, renovations, additions, educational facilities, healthcare, retail, office facilities, heavy concrete, and adaptive reuse preferred.
• Experience with site development and site work.
• Working knowledge of construction layout and basic surveying.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, sequencing, safety, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong planning, scheduling, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficient computer and technology skills.
• OSHA training preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to quality, accountability, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

Employment Requirements & Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, with additional hours as project needs require.
• Work performed in person at assigned construction jobsites.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Successful completion of required background and drug screenings.
