MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Unit Leader for the Ferdinand, Indiana site, working on the 3rd shift. You will provide leadership, plan staffing, monitor operations, and guide improvements in quality, safety, and productivity.

You will ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations while coaching teams toward MasterBrand values. The role emphasizes lean practices, continuous improvement, and staff development, reporting to the area Manufacturing Manager.

Competenze

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated team participation and/or leadership and related continuous improvement successes.
  • Solid working knowledge of lean manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, delegation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Provide leadership and continuous improvement to the team in the areas of quality, cost/productivity, delivery, and safety.
  • Support MasterBrand Production System (MPS) including continuous improvement.
  • Provide necessary resources and training, coaches/mentors associates on behavior relevant to MBCI values, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Work with other Superintendents and other Business Units to make facility process changes.
  • Analyze production schedules and estimate employee hour requirements and establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Ensure OSHA and other safety and environmental regulations are met.
  • Evaluate manufacturing process and give direction as needed. Ensure processes follow sound manufacturing practices.
  • Develop and maintain a working relationship with the manufacturing associates ensuring adherence to Masterbrand Cabinets’ Four Basics & Five Traits.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of production department or work crew.
  • Evaluate needs and requirements for new products or processes.
  • Interpret and enforce company policies, rules, safety regulations.

Also responsible for employment decisions, reviews, and overall development of direct reports (Supervisors & Quality Associate).
